Protagonist: SATAN

Back to Maria… For she is the allegory for what mankind is going through… God has turned to his last resort; he tries to recreate the act that last brought him complete control over Man on Earth - a son, a redeemer... God sends Raphael to Maria who manipulates her to, like the Virgin Mary, carry his child and give birth to the second Christ. Satan is in her head too, trying to convince her to commit suicide (she is protected, he cannot “kill” her, but he can manipulate her). She also has the nagging fear that it is Satan that has impregnated her in an act of deception - he has appeared as angels before (to Uriel), is it him again this time?

She is battling with the decision; 1) kill the baby for fear knowing if she gives birth it could herald the return to Catholic oppressive rule, or inflame those of other militant religious extremist views and doctrines. - She thinks futuristic dystopia, but with a second Christ as the dictator... Catholic church of the middle ages, with the mentality of extremists we have now... ? 2) Accept the flicking, lying tongue of Satan and kill herself (mankind accepting its fate, giving up and letting the excesses of modern society WIN… this also achieves point1) or 3) CHALLENGE; start fighting back… do it the right way; to stand up to the Sins, to fascism. We’ve rejected the primitive, innocent concept of “God” in the West, we now need to reject Satan; find a new way?
